It's a little bit funny..., that actually I've seen Dreamland Beach, a newly famous beach in Bali - 7 years ago! when I was 9. third year at my elementary school]


It's started when I was on vacation in Bali this month with my father and my 'sister' , Gwen. I was wondering about Dreamland, and then we went there with car. On the road, my father realized, that it's the same road , the sama lane, the same street- that my family and I passed through when we went to our lodge in Bali 7 years ago.

I still remember the beautiful yet peaceful lodge. The lodge located somewhere in the wood and hills . When everything was so green, with yellow flowers ( what kind? I don't know, but they look like a trumpet) hanging on a steel roof upside a wood bench ,a giant chess board . (with the chess too),the wall made from bricks, the room was so calm and the roofless bath room (YES! no roof baby!)- buth still wonderful cause I could took a bath while seeing some exotic orchids rose from the stone walled bathroom. Then the pool... ( I mean swimming pool). If you wanna go to the pool, you should go down the stone stairs to the a garden which was more like a wood too, with so many kinds of flowers and plants. And pretty colorful butterflies and other insects. From the pool, I could see the blue horizon, the sea, and a wonderful beach. Then I wondered...Is there any way to go to that beautiful beach, the crowdless beach (or it might be no one was there ) ... without jumping? hahaha... why my mom , and my family prefered another beach...? to Kuta, to Tanah Lot? They were pretty crowded and a little bit messy. Why not this virgin beach?

I love the lodge so much, especially, cause there's more foreigner than Indonesian. Most of them are writer, and scientist.And they're sweet. What I remember is, an old man greeted me in the morning when I drinking my milk "Morning sweetheart", something like that, and my grandmother was busy with her new friends from Holland

Now I know.. the beach I saw 7 years ago is actually dreamland beach... hahahaa. 5 days ago I discovered the lodge is an Eco Lodge with butterfly observation center. (that's why I saw so many butterflies with unique wings), a little bit different,the romm still has no tv,they still have friendly guests, ( found a foreigner..oldman smiling to me when I arrived) but I can't see the brick wall again, they painted it all white, but I got 2 surprises. They added a tranparent trapeze into the king size bed ! wooh. and I found my ' old friend' there. Guess who? a black jet greyhound dog! This dog 'accompanied' me at my my new years eve 7 years ago at the lodge with my nanny(my family went out). And this dog too... which made me afraid of black dog! why?? cause he 'welcomed' my arrival that year- running to catch me! and sat in front of my door waiting for me to out from my room . Hilarious isn't it??? and 5 days ago... I found him still alive... ..Found him? hell no! he found me! and stared at my face like an old friend. ^^
